Hey guys I’m Ahmad!
I’m an Orlando local, but Palestinian in heritage #FreePalestine. Growing up in Orlando, I was surrounded by deers, orange groves, and serene lakes, allowing for a childhood where I fell in love with natural beauty.
I graduated with a business degree from UCF during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was a tough time. Finding a job was almost impossible, and I applied to over 500 positions without any luck. It was a challenging period, but it also led to me writing this “About Me” section for my own business.
Starting MurgaSkin Labs with Irfan felt…..Correct. It allowed me to reconnect with my inner child and pursue a passion that has been close to my heart for years, which is self empowerment.
As a teenager, I struggled deeply with confidence after battling Stage IV Lymphoma. The toll of chemotherapy, steroids, surgeries, and everything that came with cancer left lasting marks physically and emotionally. My self esteem was shattered. But out of that experience came a purpose... to create a space where others could feel seen, safe, and supported. A place where compassionate care meets advanced treatments in an environment that truly welcomes everyone.
At MurgaSkin Labs, we aim to make selfcare enjoyable and effective, turning something that was once a struggle into a positive and empowering experience for everyone.
